I love the places that make you realise how tiny you and your problems are

~Anonymous

With all that’s going around in the world due to the scary Covid 19 situation, these words sound so so wrong, I know. Our problems now are huge! And my heart goes out to all those who are suffering and grieving the loss of loved ones; all my love, and prayers for you and your families. I’m trying to stay positive and finding something that keeps me sane these days, with all the negative and sad news around.

So just trying to share something positive, a little experience from a fantastic winter trek to Kedarkanth – a peak located deep inside Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarakhand. When in mountains, I am often reminded of those words. Powerful. Deep. Walking in this snowy dreamland that winter, these profound words reverberated in my mind, every step felt as if demonstrating its meaning.

I felt immense gratitude for being able to walk through such beautiful paths, not just physically but also mentally and spiritually. It may come across as all fancy words but I assure you, walking in the mountains is an unparalleled experience. And only if you have walked in the mountains, you’d know what I mean. If you haven’t experienced it yet, I urge you to at least once, go see it for yourself.
